Every year since 1999 The Carolinas' Full Throttle Magazine has hosted the Almost a Tradition, Pre Daytona, Valentine's Day Party and Oyster Roast around Valentine's Day. We call it the Fear Of February Party because there are very few biker events going on due to the weather. Usually the weather has been awful, but here lately we've been fortunate to have a few good days to party.
This event kicks off the riding season as Daytona is right around the corner. We also celebrate Valentine's Day so the ladies feel included. It is a time when people get together with other riders that they haven't seen since the last toy run before Christmas. No matter the weather, we have a great time!
We give away free chicken wings, oysters, and always have a wide array of door prizes. We raffle off a diamond heart pendant and a big flat screen TV. There is also a T-shirt to commemorate the event.
